Vote for a better future for Lewis County
Voting for me is choosing to invest in our county's success. Together, we can ensure our county survives, and also thrives.

Dr. Pollock has sharpened her knowledge of county policies, public safety, oversight and budgets. She is well informed about county roads/public works, as well as public health and policy development. She has managed to address legislative issues and foster community relationships.
Following the closure of timber harvest and mining operations, which resulted in significant job losses and detriment to our schools, I vehemently opposed the redirection of our tax dollars to favor large corporations located far from our community.
I've actively safeguarded our local funds from misuse by external entities. By thwarting a foreign company's attempt to bypass our stringent wind turbine regulations, I've upheld the integrity of our land and laws. Presently, I'm closely examining another foreign venture that could potentially deplete our resources—utilizing our water and electricity and requiring millions in taxpayer dollars for minimal job creation.
I’ve been advocating for federal funding by returning some of our tax dollars to Lewis County. Both the Ceres Hill Road Bridge Restoration Project and 911 Radio funding made Congresswoman Gluesenkamp Perez’s Top 15 list. These will need to go through the House and Senate, but the first hurdle has been cleared!
I demonstrate leadership through substantial local investments, including $7.3 million for our 911 system, over $4 million for water and sewer upgrades, and $3.8 million for road improvements. Currently, I'm advocating for further federal support for our schools, bridges, and emergency services.
Secured funding for increased mental health services at the Youth Advocacy Center.
Successfully persuaded WSDOT to reopen the freeway during the January '22 flood. This was particularly critical as Highway 7 was closed due to snow, leaving no alternative route available.
Obtained funding to support the construction of the new Jim Hazlett Memorial Kitchen at Mayme Shaddock Park.
A water bank project in Lewis County is currently stalled due to my refusal of a "quid pro quo" arrangement. I declined to cease inquiries about hydrogen in exchange for potential progress on legislation crucial for funding water rights acquisition. Despite this setback, there's ongoing work needed for water infrastructure improvements.
Blocked a proposed code change that would have enabled Scout Clean Energy to bypass county permitting processes and directly seek EFSEC approval for permitting wind turbines.
Obtained complete funding for the LEOFF1 retiree medical obligation.
